Welcome to the 30 Days of Thanksgiving, in which I am behind, but happy to have you drop by nonetheless. 🙂
There are so many things I am thankful for and really the reason I wanted to do this blog post series in the first place is so that I would stop, reflect, and enjoy this wonderful season! I love the Thanksgiving season and with things so crazy here I am afraid of missing it. Right this very minute I feel it is slipping out of my fingers.
There is so much on my plate and it just continues to stack up. I feel I am starting to drop some things and I hate that feeling!
So today, I am just thankful for His grace. Grace may pop up on a couple different posts simply because grace fills a multitude of gaps. Have you ever noticed that?
Grace, unmerited favor! What does that mean? He gives me favor, although I do not deserve it. As a matter fact, we deserve DE-merits not unmerited favor….His favor, His kindness, His love, His
mercy…you can’t buy it, you can’t work to get it….it has to be free! Amen!
He has given me the grace to do what HE wants me to do. That’s hard! But thankfully, He has also given me the power to do what He wants me to do! He gives me the desire through grace, to know Him more, to be broken before Him, and live out His ways and His truth.
I want my focus during this Thanksgiving and Christmas seasoning to be Him! I want to reflect on the things that He has given to me.
1 Timothy 6:17- Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy.
He has given us so many things to be thankful for!
What are you most thankful for? I would love to hear from you!
Living in His Grace!
