Welcome to week 6 of our DO SUMMER BIG CHALLENGE! The weather here in North Idaho has calmed down a bit and we have finally hit some bearable temperatures. We have even received some much needed rain. It has been a wonderful blessing to all our firefighters out there fighting wildfires. It has been a welcomed reprieve.
With the cooler temperatures it is a little easier to be outside to DO SUMMER BIG! This week, we will be blowing off the dust of our tricyles and hitting the trails. For you, it may be your bicycles. That’s great…same idea ;)! You may want to put a little forethought into this plan, depending on the age of your children. We are going to pack a picnic lunch, some drinks, snacks, and load up the trailer full of trikes and hit the trails. In our area, we have miles of old train tracks that have been ripped up and made into bike trails. They are wonderful. They have incredible scenery and no car traffic to worry about. Those of you in our local area we will be going up to Cataldo on Saturday. We would love to see you on the trail! Leave a comment or facebook message and I can fill you in on all the details!
For the rest of you not so local or need to DO SUMMER BIG on a different day, please take some pics and post them! We would love to see you making summer memories with us!
