This DO SUMMER BIG CHALLENGE has been a great summer activity for my family. We have made some great memories this summer and we have done some very fun things we have never done before. They all have been things I have always wanted to do, but just never made the time to do it.
It is amazing how fast time flies by and ticks away. This summer has flown by. It is hard to believe we are closing up the month of July. August is right around the corner and pretty soon the busyness of fall schedules will be in full effect. Let’s make the most of what is left of this summer.
For those of you who maybe just joining us, WELCOME. We are so glad you are here! It is not too late to join us for making the most of our summertime. You can pick up right where we are or go back and see what we have done for the making of great summer memories.
This weeks challenge I have had to put a little bit of thought into. I have to admit I am running out of ideas, but I still have a couple aces up my sleeve. I am just not quite ready to do them yet. This weekend we were going to go camping with our church family, but because of some scheduling conflicts on our side we will not be going this year. I am bummed about that, but we have 2 birthdays this weekend and camp season for my kids finishing up so we will make it fun for sure.
The DO SUMMER BIG CHALLENGE for this week is “Hit the road”. You are probably wondering what does that mean. Let’s load up and explore a neighboring town or city. Here in North Idaho we have a bunch of quaint little towns that are just fun to explore. Due to the fact, I have to pick up my girls on Friday I think we will just keep heading north and take a tour of Sandpoint, Idaho.
Here are some ideas of what you could do.
- Check out any museums, art galleries, or historical landmarks.
- Hiking, biking, or walking trails
- Take up some geocaching. This can add a bit of adventure to exploring a new town.
Do a little research ahead of time. See what’s there. If everything has an expense attached to it and you do not want to spend money, consider a picnic at a park or beach. Just enjoy the new scenery and have fun together!
Enjoy your family! Blessings!
