After a great month in January, I am hoping we can keep living on a $500 Food Budget for the month of February. I am kind of behind in my receipts and I hope that does not come back to bite. I am hoping to maybe start doing a little bit of couponing again, but we will see.
I have started to a little bit of menu planning and am hoping to fine tune that skill (or lack thereof). 🙂
Family Foods- Tillamook cheese (ouch!)
Super 1- half and half, cocoa, donuts (treat for the kiddos)
Super 1- salsa, sub sandwich
Walmart- salsa, sugar free choc chips, jalapenos, cream cheese, applesauce, American cheese, Annie’s mac and Cheese (6), sausage patties
O.K. those are my random receipts….here are the receipts for my grocery run.
Walmart- powdered milk, marjoram, whole wheat spaghetti (2), Dreamfields spaghetti (2)
Trading Co.- potatoes (2), bacon (3), 3 pork roasts, rolls
Super 1- Lentils, cheese, brown sugar, water chestnuts, English muffins
Costco- tortillas, bread, bouillon, cashews, trail mix (for the hubs), lunch meat, greek yogurt, cheese, clementines, tortilla chips, salsa, peas, cereal
Total February Spent: 289.09 (yep, I knew those roaming receipts would come back to bite!)
February Balance: $210.91
This month could be tough! We will see!
