We are already in July. Is that crazy or what?!
This week’s challenge is always an easy one to come up with because of all the holiday celebrations.
Depending on the community you live in, you have many options to choose from.
Of course, the most obvious would probably be go see a fireworks show. In my area there are multiple to chose from. Coeur d’Alene always puts on a great show. But my favorite is probably Bayview and the cool thing is they usually do the fireworks on the Saturday of Fourth of July weekend.
This year we do not have a plan to see fireworks, but that could change. However, we are going to a Drive In movie. The closest one from us is about two and a half hours away. But it is so worth it. We always have a great time!
But for the sake of the challenge, I am going to just throw some ideas out for you that are a more traditional Fourth of July activity.
Picnic in the Park
Have a backyard BBQ. Invite some friends or neighbors and make it a party.
Find a Fourth of July parade.
Go camping. (I know it’s kind of last minute, but you could pull it off 😉 )
Many cities do a lot of Fourth of July activities. Do a little research for your community and go have fun! I would love to hear what you did over the weekend. Better yet give us some Instagram pics #dosummerbig
Happy Fourth of July and DO SUMMER BIG!
