I am the worst menu planner ever. I take that back. I am an excellent menu planner, but I lack execution. I have come to the conclusion that I hate food. Well, at least the thinking about food. I feel like my kids eat twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. I know deep down that a menu plan would be ever so helpful, but I just can’t seem to stick to a plan when it comes to food. I am not a picky eater but definitely a mood eater. I have to be in the mood to eat something and usually it is not what is on my menu plan. Is there anybody else out there like that? Or is it just me? Do I make myself just get over it and press on or do I accommodate my mood? Well this week I will try to press through for a couple different reasons. First being, my husband will not be present for dinner. That means very kid friendly foods. Plus, we are tightening up our food budget to reach our savings goals.
This is a picture of my Menu tile below…..and this is what it looked like for months (my 27 year old daughter wrote it out, she knows me quite well 🙂 ) As you can see….I lack in the meal plan arena.
